Your Voice for U.S. Congress!

Peter Coe Verbica is a common sense, fiscally conservative Republican running for U.S. Congress, CD19. He ran for Board of Equalization, D2, which covers 13 counties, defeated Governor Newsom’s former San Francisco Supervisorial appointee, won a top two spot in the general election and moved the needle double-digits from the previous Republican candidate.
Peter grew up on a cattle ranch during the summers and used the proceeds to pay for school clothes. By day, he is a CFP® Principal and Managing Director at Silicon Private Wealth, a money management and Registered Investment Advisor firm. He enjoys writing as an avocation and is the author of Hard-Won Cowboy Wisdom, a book of aphorisms which reflect the benefits of cowboy culture and the West.
Peter is a vigorous advocate for:
• small government,
• lower taxes,
• transparency,
• accountability,
• immigration reform,
• the sanctity of our Nation’s borders,
• a strong national defense,
• school choice, and
• merit-based education.
He is a Rotary Paul Harris Fellow and while a member of Rotary, founded the Military Care Committee which sent care packages to active U.S. service members who were deployed abroad, including his daughter’s strike fighter squadron aboard the USS Eisenhower. The Committee also supported the Fisher House and the Defenders Lodge at the VA Hospital.
He has spoken out against fentanyl and addressed the role of China’s regulatory and enforcement failures in the international networks that sustain this crisis; he has also advocated for more conservative central bank policies with respect to the money supply and its impact on currency debasement and inflation.
In addition, he supported efforts to stop tax increases, including Prop 50 in Santa Clara County and has been an active voice against the latest tax measures in Santa Cruz County, including Measure C which punishes eligible homeowners up to $200,000 in taxes when they go to sell their home.
He supports the California Voter ID initiative which is slated for the 2026 ballot and believes that the epidemic of billions in unfunded liabilities in local counties and cities must be stopped. He has spoken to how Sacramento can be bypassed with respect to state income and sales taxes, similar to Prop 13 and property taxes; he has presented his proactive strategy for a statewide initiative to the Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Association and the CAGOP.
In his personal life, Peter is the proud father of four daughters, all of whom are now adults and living their own lives and pursuing their own careers. He and his wife live in Santa Cruz County and are involved with and support a number of non-profit and civic organizations, including Free Guitars for Kids; Peter serves as the Investment Committee Chair for the San Jose Symphony Foundation, and helps oversee a seven-figure investment pool.
